Goodfoot Consortium Exclusive – SkullnBones SCOOP!!

March 16, 2009

Went into Goodfoot today where I was meant to have an interview with Matt George, the owner of the shop for Skull n Bones.

He must be really busy at he moment though as he wasn’t available to talk with me – apparently he is out of town at the moment.

Spoke with the other Matt in the shop – who eventually agreed to let me go and meet one of the Goodfoot designers.

If you follow my blog you will know that I have been hot on the heels of the new Consortium project – well, here is my first official scoop.

Have posted up two videos from my trip to the Goodfoot store in Toronto.

Watch the 2nd video to get the drop on the first model.

Shepard Fairey Arrested

February 7, 2009

A fews days on my from post of Shepard re-decorating Beantown, the Obama ‘Hope’ poster artist has been arrested in the same city on charges of ‘tagging’.
Been an interesting few months for Shepard firstly with his Obama poster releasing to huge acclaim, then getting sued by the Associated Press to finally get arrested in Boston last night.

ss09 Consortium – something special on the way?

February 1, 2009

ahh the joys of .htaccess and ridiculous passwords…can’t believe people still use htaccess actually – been doing a fair bit of security stuff at uni recently and decided to try and see how this could help with my sneaker fixation (sad I know). Cut a long story short I was playing with loads of keywords (nike, adidas, puma etc etc) and came across this kingoflondon.net site that only uses htaccess to protect the directory.

No idea what the site is but seems to be developed by someone who works/contracts at adidas.

They obviously worked on the end to end and ali projects but most intersting to me was the folder called Consortium SS09.
Very little in there – only a pdf – but it looks like we have another excellent consortium project on the way.

Check it yourselves – but you didn’t hear this from me…..

shouldn’t need a password but it will be kol and adidas if you do (it’s in the directory .htpassword) and yes I’m shaking my head.

Streets of Boston: Shepard Fairey

January 30, 2009

Shepard Fairey must be a Cylon…  With temperatures in Boston as low as 8 degrees, there is no way he’s spent the last week hitting the streets of Boston. It’s amazing that Shepard and his crew are willing to brave Arctic-like temperature just to work the historic walls of Bean Town and make the city his personal urban canvas.
